I remember the first time I had like kind of heard about producers, I was in high school and I only knew about it from reading the CD jackets. The second band that I was in we went and made a record at a studio in Columbus with this is like very early in the Pro Tools days. And I just asked him like, is this what you do and he's like, yeah, this is what I do and that was like a moment where I was like, oh, this is a real career. He started out as a musician then got into production mixing all that sort of stuff.
