Max Verstappen Escapes a Penalty on the Restart
Max Verstappen escapes a penalty on the restart. The FIA apparently looked at this and decided that the contact patch of his tire was not over the white line, which is where a penalty would come into play. He actually did a bit of a false start so he moved forward early. And I don't even think it was one of the, like, what I did with my gearbox. Lewis Hamilton won by sheer pace and just the sheer pace of the Mercedes car. Red Bull didn't make a huge leap up to the front in qualifying but maybe they were lucky today.
