The phrase sticks and stones may break my bones came from a Christian worldview promoted by black people during the time of slavery. We've completely rejected the Christian mindset that allowed us to overcome slavery, overcome Jim Crow,. And we've got done a 180 from that. It's so crystal clear this secular culture doesn't work for anyone. If we ever want to be able to just engage with people in way I mean they used to do, then we have to go back to a Christian lifestyle.
