The History of the US Navy in World War II

Operation Galvanic was the first step, if you will, of the Central Pacific Drive. It's what birthed what we call today the Navy Seals in World War II underwater demolition teams. This is the force that, in my opinion, wins the Pacific War in the way that we know. These are the guys that set foot on Tarawa and ended at Okinawa.
