Most of bet an's works and performances, as i say, they weren't shared amongst the public. They were private. And in this way he began to earn a reputation for being gifted but not widely available or accessible. In 17 95, when he released his first pieces and gave his first public performances, people went off. From s first three piano trios alone, beethoven earnt enough money to cover his living expenses in vienna for an entire year. He deliberately didn't perform or release his work publicly in order to get people hype to finally experience it.
