i think the best interviewers actually listen. And i wouldn't have caught that if wasn't actively listening to what jeff was saying. You have to be able to kind of disrupt someone's normal. So your new got to be like, ok, but let's an destruction. Now, i was, i was fascinated by your profile of malcolm gladwell. Like he, it's very interesting hearing about his creative process. He says he writes, or he thinks about writing, for three hours. For every hour he writes, he thinks about it for 3 hours. I'm trying to think who else might have said that. Maybe taller swift said it. I likeit a lot
During my burnout days, there is only a handful of newsletters that keep my days going. And The Profile Newsletter, written by none other than Polina Pompliano is one of the few that I read every week! In The Profile, Polina (like the newsletter's name) profile the world's most successful people, from Sara Blakely to Keanu Reeves, and more!
In this episode, Polina and I broke down some of the similar traits of successful people, and also, I wanted to profile her! What inspired her to start the newsletter, what did she learn from all the people that she had profiled, and most importantly, what I can learn from Polina!
