Is There a Difference Between Open Source and Distribution Channels?

timand i running this partass is that no open source companies are exactly run the same. And we talk to a lot of companies that will have open source components to them, but they're not truly open source in the same way other ies are. So how do you know who could use scarf? Because if iam running a company based on an open source project that i am not the initial founder or owner of, can i still tract data from that project, or is that not a fit? That's a great question.
