Mitzky's Album Laurel Bell, Really Didn't Hit for Me at All

Mitzky used the same producer that she's been using on our last three albums. The sound palette of the album is very middle of the road 80s. And I find that when you combine that palette with her songwriting, nothing really pops out of it. There's a kind of intellect to what she does that really draws me in.
