Sleep Restriction: Is It Reprogramming the Brain?

When I reduce the amount of time that I get to do that particular activity, it was exercise in the latter, it's sleep. Once you've retrained the system and the patient has started to sleep in a healthy manner consistently across the night, the clinician will very slowly start to add back more time that you're allowed in bed but little by little. If at any point the patient starts to spend too much time in bed awake, then the clinicians will nip it in the bud and they will reduce back down the Amount of Time You Can Spend In Bed.
