Making Decisions Under Extreme Pressure

We first met in the context Mission Critical Team Institute when we were both working with various groups of people that have to make really high pressure decisions. And I was really intrigued by this notion of rapid high stakes decision making because that's an area where traditional cognitive neuroscience hasn't been able to do a lot of work. One of our highest priorities is to move neuroscience from the lab and start to see whether, you know, the knowledge and the frameworks that we have about how the mind works still apply under real world context.
