The Case of Rachel Graham in an Aged Care Home
Klanoland was a resident at St Basil's Randwick in Sydney, run by the Greek Orthodox Church. She also had dementia and staff couldn't deal with her. Three times that year she was sent to hospital for no reason other than she had dementia. This is happening in aged care homes all across the country where staff are at their wits end or they're not properly equipped. And so they send them to hospital, or they call outside authorities to do what they either can't do or aren't willing to do.
