How Do You Keep Things Fresh on the Guitar?

i mess around with the tunings in a kind of coy way. I'll drop the be string down to an a, and suddenly i've got a completely different sound. And i'm still finding ways of playing e chords. There ll have to be songs i wish i'd written. The last album had a number of songs don by other artists,. Like the daws and that sort of thing. If i cover a song, you can be pretty certain i wishes i'd written it but i don't usually release them. Sometimes in set, i'll do my own songs in the set, and i'll do hovers in the encore - like going into my record collection.
