The Risks and Benefits of Cyclophosphamide for GPA

In 2023, we have a range of options that are available to us, raising the question about what to use and when. Treatment can be thought of as having two phases: Induction, where active disease is put into remission, followed by maintenance. While retuximab is an option, there is also data with methetrexate or a mycophenolate. And so while we do have these other options available, that would tend to make for me probably cyclophosphamide my least preferred choice out of all of these options.
