Josh and Steve Hayes Break Into the Petite Family Home

Joshua Comasarjewski and Steve Hayes broke into the ground floor of the Petite family home in Cheshire, Connecticut on July 22. Josh immediately attacked Williams with a baseball bat before binding his wrists and ankles with zip ties and rope. The men then moved from room to room, rounding up Jennifer, Haley, and Michaela before binding them in turn. They had apparently stolen $15,000 worth of goods, but they knew the Petites could get them more.
