Does Heat Exposure on Top of Altitude Exposure Matter?

In the winter, blood volume contracts by up to 10%. That should also translate to lower hemoglobin mass over time. So I've been a huge fan recently of heat exposure as much as possible if athletes enjoy it. And I think five times a week is too much for most systems or most lives and stress totals.
