How Do You Write a Book?

The prologue and the epilogue are both in first person. Amelia is essentially our eyes in even though it isn't ensemble, she's arguably the main character. And so it felt appropriate that we would that she would be the first person that we're meeting. The island was sort of functions as a narrator in the book. It's really about the book really gets into land and Indigenous rights and what the land is, what the land means.
