The Role of Confidence in Decision Making in Clinical Trials
In a rationale paper, they said that although we propose a different analytical approach that often seen in clinical trials, this should not hinder interpretation of trial data or their clinical utility. They say the complexity of managing patients with AFib early on after an ischemic stroke precludes simplified dichotomous decision making and necessitates some leeway for individual decision making. But at the same time, I'm still quite skeptical just because of the way it was done.
