Some media are getting together to try to demand at least some context on basics of the cases. The way Canada's rules are, it's pretty much nothing. I understand why we don't want to be running the names of youth offenders yet. But when you're talking about what looks increasingly like a national crisis,. We talk about the public interest. Like, so why does the news reader have a right to know about this? Well, I can't think of a more urgent public interest case than just like, I don't want this to happen to my kids.
