The Importance of Adopting a Black Child

I wanted to talk about the fact that you have adopted children and I think in particular this is the thing that stood out to me. Adopting a black child did not give me any pause or hesitation whatsoever but that doesn't mean it didn't affect them when Zoe was six or seven she came home from school and they had asked her if we were a biracial family.
