The Importance of History in the Modern State

I like Halak's great theoretical subtlety here, an ability to interact in quite complex phenomena. It's a very sophisticated and yet simple at the same time way of approaching the subject of what is the modern state. Once you get into the swing of understanding his style, then it's intelligible but it's certainly not as poetic and beautiful as a side we were comparing to the author of Orientalism. He was a total pleasure to read from a literary point of view. His ideas are amazing and worth pursuing nonetheless.
