The History of a Plantation

Benedict Cumberbatch's great-grandfather had a plantation in Barbados. The family could face a claim for damages over its historic lease to solve it for money. There are still areas that you can call a plantation, but they don't have slaves working on them. A place called Draxhall Estate is owned by a Tory MP who owns a big slave plantation. And apparently Cumberbatch is a part of that family.
