Chief Farrell does some more digging and talks to family friends. Friends of Albert Franz find out that he has a girlfriend, Molly Carte. She had actually received a letter from him on the day that Bessie died. It was a love letter. As far as they knew Albert really was courting Molly. He wanted to be involved more heavily with her.
