Fleming and the Bond Marriage
Biographer oliver bucton says, film makers have moved away from some of the attitudes in the books. Fleming finally allowed bond to fall in love with a woman, and marr he it's possibly not a spoiler to say that the bond marriage did not prove a long and happy one. Only a tiny number of popular authors, fleming and agatha christie and arthur conan doyle, retain a mass readership after they die.
