PG&E's Dixie Fire
On June 17, 2020, CEO Bill Johnson pleaded guilty to 84 counts of involuntary manslaughter from the campfire. The fires of 2017 and 2018 killed 107 people. PG&E was convicted of the deadliest corporate crime in American history. Two weeks after pleading guilty, Bill Johnson left. Amazingly, he gets no severance package.
