The Role of Memes in Magic
Sigils and memes are very similar because they elicit a certain reaction in you. And that's a certain energy. When I was a teenager, I wanted to buy axe because I saw hot girls like like the guys on axe commercials. And I feel like that was a form of magic on me because it exploited like a teen boy vulnerability in me and a type of energy. That is an interesting path that I think I've recognized before. Basically what they occult, I guess because Crowley came about around the same time as like public relations came out. It's almost like advertising kind of used occult methods. Like basically making ads for yourself to be the you that you want to sell to yourself
