The Importance of Listening to One Another
Jeffrey Toobin: I think it connects to the themes of the ideas, seminar and indeed the first session which was about listening to one another. So an interesting thing happened in this case after I argued it the North Carolina Supreme Court where this case was from changed its mind on some of the key questions. And we looked at it and I have such a diverse team of people on my staff and my method is always to really try and take what the United States Supreme Court says seriously. But sometimes there's still a space for good results even when we are opposed to one each other.
