The Secrets of Bletch
Bletch was a 'totally, totally top secret operation', says the former code-breaker. She had to sign an official Secrets Act before she could be allowed into Bletch. "With no option, Betty, you just do it," she recalls saying of her first day there. The mission took place between 1943 and 1945 but has only been revealed recently.
