Is There a Conversation That Really Needs to Be Had Amongst White People?

I see this in a much longer historical framework that goes back 500 years to the beginnings of white settlement and expansion out of Europe into Asia, Africa, and of course the Americas. To break things down into traditional academic components of narrow period of time and space is to miss the point. It can fairly clear that it's not a conversation that really needs to be had amongst white folks who have been having this conversation for 500 years. And I think another part of that is to think of this in terms of the planet catastrophe that confronts us, which is equally a product of that history.
