The evacuation order was lifted on February 8th, and shortly after that, the train company, Norfolk Southern, began running trains through the town right away. The mayor released head-of-press conference where he spoke very angrily about the train company with no reassurance that a derailment would not happen again in their town. "Your home is your sanctuary. If you don't feel safe in your home, you're never going to feel safe anywhere," she says.
The derailment of a train carrying toxic chemicals has residents of East Palestine, Ohio fearing for their health and safety. Two weeks after the incident, many feel like they have more questions than answers.
