The Extermination of Raphael Lemkin

Raphael lemkin was still living in warsaw when hitler invaded poland. He tried to escape the city by train, but it was bombed and he had to take refuge in the woods. Over the next two months they travelled with a tinally changing group of refugees. His first task there was to educate his colleagues aboutHitler's planned exterminations. As he threw himself into this work, High blood pressure started to run high. And as we alluded to the episode at the top of our page, here is an extract from Limkin’s autobiography: ‘The Last Lawyer’ (1940)
