Are You a Production Designer?
Carlos: I always liked the idea of traveling, right, when I was a kid. As a production designer, I think you have more room to contribute, be solely to the projects. On live action, you really need to communicate with the cinematographer on what you're planning on looks and all that. But in animation, since there isn't really a cinematographer, who do you relate to about all of this? Obviously, things are changing a lot in animation in a good way. For example, they learn so much also from live action that they're starting to reinvent that figure. And I think it's a great thing.
