The Importance of Honesty in Argumentation
The idea that a person can be right morally and still be a jerk, who's motivated largely for egotistical, carpet bagging, opportunistic reasons. I think amongst people with a sense of righteous rage that righteous is the anger maybe there's a lot going on besides the righteousness in that anger. Yeah, doesn't mean we shouldn't listen to them or try to action what they're saying, but I do think it really complicates things because from a purely logical point of view, the only thing that matters is the substance of the argument.
