Is There a Single Overarching Norm?

I do have a lot of sympathy for what I broadly construe as pragmatist approaches. And in my head, I so I've yet to get into any of the 20th century kind of pragmatists like Rorty or Putnam or anything like that. But yeah, no, you're right that some conception of pragmatism would be sufficiently overarching to include this.
