Psychedelics to Treat Depression
In Australia, Silas Ivan is now a legal medicine in Australia to treat depression and MDMA is a legal medicine to treat PTSD. In the UK, they are scheduled in such a way that they're in a category where the government has just decided based on no evidence that they have no therapeutic value. You need a lot of license from the home office to do it. And there was this parliamentary debate on this in May simply on changing the category. So not legalizing them, but just saying, shall we put them in the same category as heroin and cocaine?
