The Flooding of Herzon
If we were to go much further south, we would enter what's called the Grey Zone. This is where neither Russian nor Ukraine has any control. The water level is now pressing right up against the road in Herzon. There are hundreds of thousands thought to be running out of tap water. If you offer the south, the sanitation system is under strain. World Health Organisation is warning of a cholera outbreak. We had to find some hard cover and then duck into a cellar at a school. And this is all amidst people like Ivan, who are just heading in to the water's edge to try and get on a boat and get people out where they can. It was fairly miserable
