Herman Cohen's Account of the May 24th Deputies Meeting
Herman Cohen said there was a decision in May to send in a Marine amphibious attack group to sit off the coast of Monrovia. Miller also worked very closely with Bush's attorney general, William Barr and his father gave Epstein his first job at the Dalton School. He writes that the deputies meeting to consider the PCC proposal for the deployment of the Marine amphibious readiness group met on May 24th 1990. Bob Kimmett gave a review of the situation as of that date.
