Online Lessons Are Better Than in-Person Lessons
Most lessons are going to be better and more effective in-person than online via Zoom or Skype. A music university is basically just full of people who teach music lessons. If they're just on a laptop mic with a built-in camera, you're getting weird audio stuff with Zoom cutting out. You can really hear what they're doing if they set it up with two cameras so they can see your face in your hands.

Tim Howes is a doctor and saxophonist based in Bristol, UK. He started on sax at age 10, playing Beatles and Stones covers in a school band, then became obsessed with jazz theory as a teenager, tracing how jazz harmony flows through other musical styles. Sax playing eventually took a backseat to studying and practicing medicine, but he has passed his love of music on to his kids. (And he still sounds pretty great, in my opinion! ~K)
