What's the Role of a Lawyer in the Estate Planning Process?
The lawyer's role really is simply to let them know you're working on it what i do when i do the workshops is i have people do a draft so you at least have a rough draft of yours and you keep that in your locked file cabinet. If something happens even temporarily and somebody has to take over your finances or something like that just like if your wife had to take overYour attorney might need to be notified of that possibly but basically it's a document they just need to know about.
