Katie: Who really runs the Boy Scouts? I still don't know to this day, and I'm looking at a research document as well. Katie: The religious undertones or overtones to Boy Scouts have made it such an inhospitable place for anyone who isn't a straight, white, you know, middle to upper, middle class boy. In 2018, the Boy Scouts of America National Executive Board adopted a resolution stating that no member can grow into the best kind of citizen without recognizing an obligation to God.
