They were going aftera ific person who had been making threats, and were trying to find a way to get to them. But there was this person was a target, versus, let's yust surveil everyone, and when someone screws up, we'll go back into their time capsal and pull up everything they've ever done. That's just surveillance capitalism ore not even capitalise e surveillance state at that point.
