Roman Attitude Toward Adultery?
There was a lot of concern about the birth rate and encouraging child bearing. The language gets harsher towards them as we get into the christian period. And i suppose the keep bringingg these laws suggests that people aren't behaving, or whether it's still a moral cessport. People keep hearkening back to a time which may well have never existed.
