How Do I Know How Many Calories to Eat?

One of the things people struggle with is like, how do I know how many calories to eat? So let's start there. You can keep a daily log of everything you're currently eating and at the end of the three days or a week, assuming you haven't gained or lost weight during that week, those calories would be indicative of your maintenance calories. Or you could pull up an equation. We use the Methylene St. Gior equation. Let's say you do the BMR calculator and it says your basal metabolic rate is 2,400 calories a day.
