Jim, you start out with this idea of working towards psychological and spiritual maturity that Eckhart assumes his audience is doing. He uses a word that I hadn't heard before when he describes a way to be self-reflective which is his idea of the powers. Jim: In order to understand what the intellect, I have to engage in my intellect to grow in my understanding. In order to love, I must engage in my will to foster life.
