How to Calculate Your Pulse Rate
In an omni pod, you get a pulse. Well, it depends on what the basil rate is at, right? Each pulse from a pod is delivered as a 0.05 pulse of insulin. So depending on what your basil may be, if it's only 0.1 per hour, you're only getting 2.05 boluses. The higher the basil rate, the higher the pulses. That adjusts over the course of an hour based on how many pulses you should get to add up in an hour.
