Is the Clip Downplaying Homosexuality?
J.D. Greer, former president of the Southern Baptist Convention, has come under fire for comments he made about homosexuality and Black Lives Matter. CNN's John Sutter says there are several reasons why a clip like that is concerning even in context. "The Bible appears to just whisper about sexual sin," one quote quotes Greer as saying. He also compared neo-Confederates who live in churches to terrorists by comparing them to those people.
