There was a personality or something in the Zen communities that I ran into that didn't resonate as much. It felt to me that some of the Zen people were trying to be self-consciously crazy, you know, not really,. but sort of purposely saying weird things. And it's interesting because that's kind of where I am at this point, but for many years, low but steady approach felt more harmonious to me.
