Adsense - How Facebook Overcame the Absolute Bombshell Apple Drops
Apple's iOS 14.5 update which basically blocked Facebook being able to track the actions that people take once they leave Facebook Instagram etc and go to people's website without permission on iOS devices as you clarify. We saw about a 30% drop in data so before we could pretty accurately match conversions to our ad account now that was say 70% of what itBefore it used to be I would like to say that Facebook really fixed it I don't think they did but advertisers worked out how to make it work with the new system more than Facebook were proactive.
