Bremer Mountain Festival, Glencoy

Breimar is probably the closest thing Scotland's got to one of those wee Austrian or Swiss Alpine villages. It sits surrounded by farmland immediately but outside that, there are hills and mountains. Braemar really relied on mountain sports in order to get through the winter. The snow's a lot less reliable so they've had to adapt. But there are lots and lots of things you can do here in the wintertime.
