The Importance of Prayer
Prayer is primarily opening yourself up and saying, I'm open to becoming more like Jesus helped me. That's interesting because when you think about communication with your guardian angel, people typically think of do this, do that. But in Isaiah 55, where it said God's ways are not your ways, his ways are higher, that actually I don't actually see clearly. St. Thomas Kwinas asked the question of, can an angel air? And he says, no, they can see two ways. One way is on the natural order. The second way is they see through union with God. So the angel sees more clearly than I do.
