Is There a Thickening Line in the Gig Economy?
Sally Kohn: One of the things that you're bringing up so beautifully is the very different societies that exist in the gig economy. What do those differences tell us about how we should care for those different kinds of communities? Kohn: For me, the goal of the research that we did was to show everyone that there is a thickening line and it connects anybody who's earning any sort of income from doing a task as a service to someone else. So can we get back to that basic question we started asking at the turn of the last century, what does everyone deserve when they're producing value?"
